How do I care for my new scarf?
I recommend hand washing for all scarves. Use cool water, with a gentle soap. Gently massage the scarf in the water, draining and rinsing carefully with cool water. Again, gently squeeze the water out and lay flat on a clean towel. Roll carefully to blot excess water. Hang to dry. I suggest taking particular care when washing your silk and bamboo scarves as they can easily snag on a fingernail or rough edge on a sink. I also feel that it is wise to test a small area of the scarf in the cool soapy water, if you are nervous about colour changes. Any scarf that I have washed has been fine with the Woolite liquid soap that I used.
