Another wonderful find in Chiang Mai! Handmade in the 2000 year old tradition of the Karen weavers of Northern Thailand. Starting with white cotton which has been sustainably grown and harvested, dyed with natural indigo and other plants, barks and seeds from the local area, then shaped and tied in to a beautiful necklace.
I only brought 5 of these home this trip, so if you think you would like this as a unique addition to your wardrobe, I suggest moving quickly. Long enough to be worn as a single strand or doubled to be a two strand necklace.
